Andrew Wade is a Registered UK Osteopath. In addition to his clinical role, Andrew is a lecturer at the College of Osteopaths part of Staffordshire University. The Osteopathy programme is moving to Derby commencing October 2019.
Andrew decided to re-train as an Osteopath after a 20-year career as an HGV driver had left him with poor posture and numerous other musculoskeletal complaints that required the services of an Osteopath to help correct. It was witnessing the efficacy of Osteopathic treatment first hand that convinced Andrew to re-train.
Away from the clinic, Andrew enjoys many varied activities including mountain biking, swimming, suspension training, gym, and yoga.
Recently Andrew has been focusing his training upon TRX work that has been finding out lots of aches, pains and stiffness.
Andrew also has a passion for history, with the late Roman republic being a firm favorite. Also, Andrew and his partner are house slaves to two rescued ex-racing greyhounds and enjoy many hours of pack time exploring the great outdoors.
Andrew underwent CPD in London in March 2018 at the London School of Osteopathy with two days of High-Velocity Thrusting techniques to the spine and peripheral joints. In June he studied Viscersomatic reflexes with Matt Walden.
Recently attended a days spinal manipulation with Professor Laurie Hartman.
